Home Based Business of Network Marketing

By Samuel Levitz

If you want to have a network marketing-based firm, you must either be among those who can upload, download, and create hyperlinks with easily or those who use web 2.0.

All greatness is obtained during execution outside the comfort zone. This new technology Web 2.0 is for those who want to position themselves to be successful online. For those who do not jump on this opportunity now, will lose and lament tomorrow

What is Web 2.0?

The general idea is user content, cooperation and activation. Web 2.0 represents a market shift in consumer attention from expert-generated content (Yahoo), to user generated content (Google). MySpace, Facebook, Flickr, YouTube and bloggers are examples. It has given everyone a voice to be heard from all corners of the planet.

Most of the people and companies use it now. People use it in any way which is beneficial for them. Companies use it as a marketing tool. And for marketing network, it is a way to advertise your home using free Web sites.

The secret to the success of any new enterprise is to expect that there will be a learning curve. Set daily goals, do not be afraid to ask your advisor, surround yourself with positive people in the business and celebrate every fulfillment.

We recommend that you examine any network before using it for your marketing activities. Do they have good training tools? This is essential for success, especially for the home based network marketing business owners.

As part of your undertaking to help promote your business you must use Web 2.0 strategies for your success. Simply, without the web 2.0 no business is in business. Using an auto-responder, pay per click with Google and Yahoo, MySpace, YouTube, blog article marketing, magazines, advertising, press releases, etc.

Success in something takes, time and effort, but the Payoff here is enormous: make money from home without any network problems by commuting, dealing with a supervisor, working hours, holidays when it was approved by 3 different managers, and earning the money, they set forth.

7 Advantages to Owning an E-Commerce Website

By Steven Snell

As internet access continues to grow around the world and new technologies continue to improve, the amount of money that is spent by consumers online is constantly increasing. In the early days of e-commerce many buyers were hesitant to give our credit card information online, but it is a part of everyday life now for many of us. This gives everyone and every small business an incredible opportunity to do business online.

Now we will look at the strengths of e-commerce and the opportunities that it presets that cannot be duplicated by running a traditional store.

1. Very Low Costs and Expenses

If you want to own a traditional brick and mortar store, the costs and risks involved will be very high. Each month you will have expenses related to the rent or mortgage, upkeep of the property, other overhead costs, salaries of employees, inventory, and that is just the beginning. Anytime there are high costs involved in running a business, the risk is also going to be pretty high.

Although traditional business come with large costs and risks, you can start an e-commerce website on a shoestring budget and be in business the same day. The opportunity to avoid the costs and risks of traditional business is a huge and undeniable advantage of e-commerce.

2. No Employees

One of the biggest headaches of owning a traditional store is dealing with employees and all of the headaches that go along with it. Managing employees is a full-time job, and then some. And that's not to mention the costs that are associated with having employees.

Another huge advantage to doing business via e-commerce is that you can avoid the need to hire and manage employees. Most e-commerce sites can be run by just one person, and if you want to grow you can always hire employees as you see fit.

3. 24/7

If you run a brick and mortar store you most likely have hours when you are open and hours when you are closed. If you're not open no one can buy anything from your store.

As an e-commerce business owner you will benefit from having your online storefront available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There will be no need to close up and lock the doors, and customers can come and do their shopping at their convenience.

4. Low Barriers for Entering the Market

If you want to start a traditional business there are all kinds of things preventing you from getting started, and even more preventing you from being successful. Startup costs, acquiring financing, competition. It's all more than most people are able to overcome.

With e-commerce there are relatively low barriers for entry by comparison. Very little financial investment is needed to get started, and although there will be competition, it won't prevent you from being able to run a profitable business.

5. Market to the World

Traditional businesses face major geographic limitations that only allow them to do business with people in their area. With this type of business you have a specific target market that is severely limited because of the geographical restrictions.

As the owner of an e-commerce business you can sell to people anywhere in the world, they just need internet access. Yes, there are some issues with shipping, but with higher shipping charges you can sell to other parts of the world, or you can sell electronic downloadable products that never need to be shipped, regardless of where the purchaser live.

6. You Don't Have to Be #1 to Be Successful

Because of the costs associated with running a traditional store, you'll need to outperform your competition in order to be able to turn a profit. Stores that are not one of the leaders in their industry will usually go out of business.

On the other hand, with an e-commerce site you will have very low expenses, so almost everything that you make will be profit. Because of this, you won't need to have the number 1 site for a specific industry, you can easily survive and remain profitable with just a small piece of the pie.

7. Flexible Working Hours

Running a traditional business means that you will probably need to be there and working just about every hour that it is open. Store owners usually have a very hectic schedule with long hours each week.

While there is certainly work involved in running an e-commerce business, most of the work is more flexible and can be done at your convenience. If you prefer to work specific hours, that is probably possible with an e-commerce business.

Is A DoFollow Better Than A NoFollow?

By Yasir Khan

Let us imagine that you have a fairly new website with a blog. As a serious internet marketer, you definitely want to use your blog to improve your visitors and reach.

I am sure you understand the difference between using a DoFollow or a NoFollow tag, but are not sure which ones to use for your blog. The choice really depends on what your goals are.

As you might already know, DoFollow tags pass along link juice to their target. For example, if a person comments on your DoFollow blog and leaves a link to his website, he will get link benefit from his posting. A NoFollow link is just that: It does not provide any link juice to its destination.

Now an important question is asked: Why do you want to send link juice to your customers?

Ideally you would not want to do that. But the catch is, Google (and maybe other search engines) look at your blog more favourably if you have lots of outgoing links from your website. In this case, having people leaving links on your blog can actually help you in becoming an authority website and dominating your niche.

So in the end it really comes down to your personal preference. If you keep your blog as a DoFollow blog, you will get loads of spam, because people will less brainpower and automated scripted will look forward to stealing some of that link juice. But a DoFollow will also provide users with more incentive to comment on your posts!

If you choose to have a NoFollow blog, you will still get a lot of spam (simply because a lot of spammers do not really know that their postings on NoFollow blogs are wasting their time) and will mostly reduce the interactivity on your blog, because most people will comment on your posts. But people who are looking to provide meaningful feedback and who do not care about the link juice will keep on commenting.

I would personally have a DoFollow blog, because outgoing and incoming links are both very important factors to determine your search engine rankings. Remember, if you give out to others over the web, most people will feel obligated and do you favors. For this reason, if you let legitimate blog comments contain an outbound link, other websites will also link back to you.

Increasing Traffic With SEO, Keywords And Link Building

By Adeline Rekli

Every webmaster is in search of more traffic - and the way to get more traffic to your site is through using SEO, keywords and link building. Webmasters and especially internet marketers have long been using these techniques to increase the visibility of their sites and to bring in more traffic.

However, there is a bit to learn if you really want to take advantage of these and make a full time income on the Internet. It all starts with search engine optimization or often referred to as SEO. It allows you to place specific keywords in your web content so people can find your information.

Then of course you can also use SEO on your website as well. When the search engine crawlers go through your site, they are looking for specific words to tell them what your site is about. In order to maximize your rankings, either place your links just below the top header or on the left hand side of the page.

The reason for this is due to the crawlers moving from left to right. The first relevant words they see, the better off you're going to be. Granted, you want your website to look fresh and helpful, but it also needs to be somewhat optimized. Just remember that if you clutter the pages with nothing but keywords, you'll end up getting yourself blacklisted from the search engines.

Though using SEO keywords are important, link building is also an important part of making your site more visible online. Search engine optimizing your site in conjunction with a link building campaign can significantly increase traffic to your site. Having more links not only improves your search engine ranking but also brings you traffic directly from readers who click the links to your site. You can build links through strategies like article marketing and video marketing. While SEO is important, you also need to combine link building with it. When the two of these are put together, it not only optimizes your content, but it also gives visitors an opportunity to click a link to your site. This is through various marketing strategies like with article or video marketing.

There are many websites which allow you to upload articles, each with a link to your site at the bottom of the article. Two such article directories used for link building are iSnare and Ezine. The more links you build to your site, the more traffic you'll see come in and the higher your search engine ranking will be.

For many of you, this might be the first you've heard of SEO, keywords and link building; but if you want to make a success of your website, these are all techniques you will have to master. These methods are the most effective ways to increase your traffic, gain a reputation and for online businesses, drive sales.

It's well worth taking some time to learn more about using SEO, keywords and link building for your site. If you have questions about SEO or other methods, just get in touch; we'd be happy to help you get started.

Squidoo And Hub Pages: Two Forces To Be Dealth With

By Marc Marseille

The internet is full of social networking blogspots and communities, but two of the top out there are Hub Pages and Squidoo. Both of these social Journal networks seem to have an unfair advantage when it comes to placement well with the search engines. Along with Word Press, Ezine Articles, and of course Google Blogger, these two communities can get indexed just about immediately. The issue is not whether they are successful forms of advertising but rather, which one delivers the hardest blow?

Hub Pages is a community for writers, bloggers, or anybody wanting to contribute something appealing with the written word. Your blogs at Hub Pages are known as hubs. You can select from certain modules to develop the look and creativity of your hubs. Hub Pages permits you to include your adsense, amazon, and Ebay ID to you hubs to generate proceeds from anyone who clicks or purchases from your links. You can also include keywords to your hubs to make it simpler for the search engines to position you.

Squidoo is also a community for writers and very related to Hubpages. The major distinction between the two is that Squidoo refers to its pages as lens. Just like Hub Pages, you can put up limitless lens on any matter while earning additional proceeds from adsense, amazon, and Ebay.

Squidoo is very Google friendly and permits you to add up to 40 keywords to your lens to boost your search engine position. As you can observe, these two powerhouse, high pr social communities share several similar characteristics; So what are the dissimilarities?

The differences start with the profit from your proceeds modules. Squidoo has a shared earning policy which separates the total earnings between the whole Squidoo community depending on the positioning of your lens. The higher your lens rank, the bigger portion of the earnings you receive. Hub Pages on the other hand allows you to hold 100% of your revenue from adsense, amazon, and Ebay.

Another difference are the guidelines and policies. Hub pages is very strict on self endorsement or over promoting of affiliate products. They will prohibit you quickly if your intent are to only provide content for the sole purpose of spamming. Squidoo also frowns spammers, but they are more welcoming to internet marketers who are interested in creating lens to promote their affiliate products or services. I guess you can say that Squidoo gives you a wider freedom of speech. Hub Pages also does not allow adult content.

Squidoo has recently tighten their policies on the types of lens that they will publish. Examples of lens that use to be standard that are no longer up to standard are: Lenses on mature content, health miracle cures, and lenses with more than 9 links to the identical site. If you can accomplish giant squid prominence (50 lenses) than these guidelines may be waived.

Both Squidoo and Hub Pages offer a location for like minded folks to bring their visions, outlooks, products or artistic expressions to the World Wide Web. The question of which one packs the most effective punch in my opinion, can simply be left up to every individual. I personally use both. Since both communities are free to join and free to network, I find it that it makes sense not to discriminate. The choice between one over the other would be the equivalent of leaving money on the table.

Many of you I am sure came across the term "multiple streams of income" Which in simple terms mean many or more.

In business, any business, creating multiple streams of income is a way of securing a business for the future. In a large corporation an example of multiple streams of income would be a varied product line, different products that appeal to different consumer groups. It would be like a breakfast food company selling cereal, waffles, and muffins. Each type of breakfast food appeals to different consumers. In affiliate marketing multiple streams of income could come from promoting various types of products, such as software for tracking investments, an ebook on budgeting and an ecourse on debt management.

A strength of having multiple income streams is that if one portion of your business slows or disappears, you can rely on the other products to sustain your business. If you depend on just one stream of income and it fails, so does your entire business, requiring you to start-over to rebuild your business. Having multiple streams of income is your insurance for a sustainable business.

One of the most desired ways to have multiple streams of incomes is affiliate marketing. This is because it comes in many different formats. Easy to set up. And you can start making money immediately. The product owner does all the hard work. They provide all the products, resources to promote there products

Your one affiliate link would have your multiple streams of income all in one place. When you are looking for a storefront web site opportunity, be sure to look for one that has promotional tools and information for affiliates.

To build the most solid business online you must have multiple streams of income. To be successful with affiliate marketing or any other type of business you need to have patience, persistence and an interest to learn as much as possible.

Tips for Web Video Discovery - How to Get Video Views

By Marcus Richards

So you've done all the work, finished the editing and now you've got your video uploaded to your favorite video sharing. The problem is that no one is looking at it. Is it a problem of finding it? Perhaps you need to do a little leg work to get the people to your video. Here are some tips on how to do just that.

Uploading your video to a video sharing site is only half the battle. You've got to make sure you attach the proper amount and type of information to those uploaded videos. That means excellent descriptions that fill people in on what your video is about, keywords to help potential viewers find your videos and tags or categories to help those who only use the video sharing site search and not a search engine like Google. Taking that all into account and putting in the proper information will not only make your videos easier to find but the people who do find it will be the people you want to target.

RSS is another great way to get your content quickly indexed by the search engines. If you're uploading your videos to your own site with your own content management system (CMS) then it probably has a built in RSS feed that you can take the link and submit to search engines. Places like Blinkx, Yahoo and Truveo will accept an RSS or MRSS feed which will tell them when you upload something new. Google Video requires a video sitemap which is also easy enough to do with a little research.

If you're more interested in having people view your video but don't care where it's done then it's a good idea to upload it to multiple video sharing sites. By uploading it there and linking back to your sites you can create your own network of links which will help people find your content. Some people don't like YouTube, some only use it. In order to hit all of them you need to put your content on multiple sites. Not sure where to look? Check out this big list of video sites at ReelSEO.com

If you're not using a video sharing site (which we would suggest if you're interested in views), but simply uploading them to your own site then RSS and sitemaps are going to be vital. But there are other things you will need to implement as well including 'Share this' buttons. These are quick, easy ways for viewers to do your work for you and share those videos out to their friends via email, social networks and social bookmarking sites. If you are using the video sharing platforms they will already have them in place for you. If you're putting the video on your own site then you might need to find a plugin if you're using a popular CMS (Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal) or some code to drop in on your own pages.

Have a Facebook profile? What about a fan page? If not then that's something you need to get to work on. There are companies out there like R2 Relations that will build your presence out on the social networks or you can do it yourself. Another great idea is maintaining a periodic newsletter to alert people or remind them about your content every so often. At the very least you need a presence on the most popular social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace and Twitter.

Even though your video is done, the quest for an online audience is just beginning. There are services that you can use or if you're the hands-on type you can do it all yourself just by researching what it is you need to do. Hopefully this has got you on the right track and you'll have people talking about and watching your video content soon.

Search Engine Marketing Advisors - 5 Little Known Seo Secrets For Better Rankings

By Taylor Reaume

There are secrets you can learn about the use of search engine optimization. Ways that you can use it to bring in even more people to see what your product is. Selling more than you had ever hoped to, and knowing that these ways will always work to bring in more people. You can try some of these things yourself, or look for a company to help you out.

Some SEO companies that help you set up these methods may charge up into the thousands of dollars for their assistance. First off, that's way too much to spend, take your time and find a company that charges you a much cheaper amount. One that you still get the same help from, but they know that the services they are providing shouldn't be over charged for.

But in order to know all the different keywords for your product, you will need to research a bit. That will be able to be done, either through a company, or some other website that can assist you. You may be surprised what keywords people will use to look up some things. So never think you know all of them, there will surely be at least one that will surprise you.

Make sure that your site is one that is friendly to use with SEOs. Either hire someone who knows how to set up a site that can be used easily with SEO, or design it yourself. Just avoid things that will not help your site out one bit. These things include such things as 404 errors, graphics being used instead of text, poorly written codes, and sparse text.

Of course you can always hire someone to help create a site that is SEO friendly, just make sure they really know what they are doing. Look at past work of theirs and see that they can be easily navigated and don't have problems on them. Also make sure that each page has a different title to it.

As stated above keywords are what SEO is all about. The domain name that you come up with, should include either all of or part of your keywords you use. Though since most keyword searches will provide many choices, you will need to pick the main ones you feel are easy for people to remember so they can easily get to your site.

Articles can be done by your or another person. Again these will include keywords throughout them. That way when they are placed people will be able to pull them up via those keywords. However, you need to make sure that the article doesn't just have a bunch of keywords in it, and not make any sense. You should stick with a keyword density that isn't too high.

Finding a company to help set up any SEO method is easy, just comparing them to ensure you are getting the best deal. Just remember you don't have to pay a lot for the best help.
