6) Don't just comment all in one day in online forums, involve yourself, have an active stream of comments building your credibility.

7) Try writing testimonials and reviews- another way of creating a stand within the online community and linking back to your site.

8) Ask clients and vendors to post links back to your site- a simple link building strategy.

9) Blogs are a gold mine- easy set up and easy work. With this you can post on anything, but understand its about quality not quantity; blog commenting is a great link building strategy as well.

10) Content is the last link building strategy! You can build major traffic on your site with quality content. Other webmasters want to link to something that is useful to their readers and naturally want to link to quality content. The Definition of SEO Marketing

By David Wittlinger

At this point, most people know what SEO is. It's the process of getting your website ranked higher in the search engines, so that you gain more traffic and exposure. However, most people still do not understand the ins and outs of how it really works, and what kinds of expectations they should have when getting started with SEO marketing.

There are many different elements of an effective search marketing campaign. With SEO, the details definitely do make a big difference, and the most successful campaigns are the ones that combine many different strategies into one cohesive plan. The key ingredient of SEO however remains to be the effective use of properly targeted keywords.

A keyword is simply the word or phrase that somebody types into a search engine to perform a query. With SEO, the goal is to specifically target the correct keywords, the ones that are popular without being overly competitive. These keywords will allow you to match your market, while also ensuring you will have a chance to rank highly. The best keywords are found through research, and the goal should be to find long tail keywords, which contain three or more words and are the best way to rank highly for specifically targeted consumers.

After discovering the keywords and key phrases themselves, it's now time to actually use those phrases on your website and in your entire SEO campaign. After the proper inclusion of these phrases, you will experience an increase in traffic to your site. Not only that, but the visitors to your site will also be more targeted, providing you with better prospects and more future customers.

The usage of keywords can begin all the way with the beginning of website development. This is when you can pick a domain name that includes your best keyword, giving you an automatic chance at being highly associated with that phrase. From there, you can create all of your individual URLs and pages with additional keywords and of course, the keywords have to be included within the page content on all of your website pages.

Most people still most commonly associated keyword usage with the actual content that goes on the page. This is still true, however there is an important line that has to be made. The line is the difference between naturally included targeting keywords while providing useful, informative content and stuffing dozens of useless pages of content with superfluous keywords in hopes of finding more traffic. Clearly, the latter is a strategy doomed for success, both with your site visitors and with the search engines themselves.

In addition to these onsite SEO tactics, effective search marketing also includes offsite SEO, primarily in the form of link building. Once your website is established, you can go about the process of generating incoming links leading to your site. Each incoming link from another site to your own is like a vote for your site in the eyes of the search engines. The more votes, the better.

Once you know some of the basic processes involved with SEO you will be able to dive in for yourself. You have to remember to have realistic expectations though about what kind of work you'll need to do, or what you would like to have done for you. Additionally, while there is an unlimited upside with SEO, there aren't any free lunches either. It's a process, and it can start working very quickly, but nothing is instantaneous or guaranteed when the competition is as fierce as it currently is with search marketing.

Earn Money With Your Blog

By Jason Myers

The last number of years has seen an exponentially increasing trend of people starting their own blogs on various pastimes and activities.

Some consider blogs as online diaries, others to keep in touch with their pasl and relatives, even others to create new friendships, increase their horizons and reach a wide audience that they otherwise would not be able to. A lot of these bloggers have noticed in due time that - whether they initially planned for it or not - they began to get a solid following of audiences from all over the world. And they observed the amount of blog followers growing. This is not an unusual phenomenon. If you write interesting posts, if you write regularly and on issues that hold interest for others as well, readers will become aware of your blog and will start reading it.

They will register to your blog to keep up with what you create. However today the inquiry for all the blogging enthusiasts is: can I create money from blogging? The reply is: Yes, you can.

Plus the fact is: but it's not that simple as writing about your passion, somebody becoming aware of you and obtaining the next Hollywood deal. So for the rest of us, not so lucky with Hollywood contracts, how can we earn money from blogging?

There are several ways one can earn money with blogging, including affiliate advertising, with Google AdSense program, by marketing banner advertisements, by writing articles for other webmasters, and of course also by selling your own information products and marketing it with the use of your blog. A couple of the very familiar approaches to make money are affiliate marketing and Google AdSense program. every one needs a different approach: if you're good at writing, you must go with the affiliate marketing process, where you need to suggest and eventually market products and/or services to your viewers. AdSense on the other hand needs a lot of visitors, for the reason that you'll receive about $5 per 100 viewers and to earn a living from this you should get a minimum of 1000 viewers a day to your website!

Top Rankings Are Possible With Well Optimized Web Pages

By Michael Fleischner

After selecting the right keywords you want to optimize your website for, you need to focus on what is called on-page optimization. On page optimization is what you do on your website pages to improve organic rankings. The good news is that through years of research and experimentation I have identified the most important on page factors for improving organic rankings.

When thinking about optimizing your web site pages, there are a number of things to consider. The most important aspects of on page optimization are meta tags, the speed at which your page loads, and the URLs you're using. Even though this short list of factors may seem obvious to some, they are the most powerful aspects of on page optimization.

Meta tags are important because they provide some basic information to search engine spiders. Meta tags need to be formatted correctly to enhance search engine rankings. My research as shows that meta tags by themselves cannot radically improve rankings. However, they may be used to verify other aspects of your website and are important for getting users to click through from search engine results.

Properly formatted meta tags should include a title tag that includes the keywords that you are trying to optimize for. It is recommended that the size of the title tag is sixty or fewer characters as this is the limit shown on Google search results. The second tag, the description tag should be limited to fewer than one hundred and fifty characters and repeat your keyword phrase no more than two times.

The last meta tag worthy of description is the keyword tag. This tag is misused all too often and it may actually be hurting your search engine rankings. When using a keyword tag, focus on only a dozen of your most important and highly trafficked keywords. You want the search engines to know that you are an authority site and worthy of top rankings. Do your research and only include the keywords that truly matter. You can also evaluate the sites in the top positions and model their keywords as long as they are included on your website.

Once you have your meta tags within your web page code it is important to focus on the next on page optimization factor. The load time of your web pages matter a great deal to Google and other search engines. Not only does your web page need to be properly formatted but it needs to load quickly. Fast loading web sites mean a better user experience. Search engines like Google reward you for providing the right information quickly to web site browsers. Try to keep load times to a minimum and continually work to improve the speed at which your site loads.

The final factor related to on page optimization we are discussing today is the web site URL. The best format is to have your keyword in root of the domain. For example, it may look something like www.keyword.com. Truthfully the days of picking up a domain like this are pretty much over but you can find some options on expired domain listings. You can also add your keyword next to the root URL by creating a separate page or folder on your main directory. The other strategy you can consider is a subdomain strategy where you would place your keyword before your domain. Most hosts offer this option.

Before you start any SEO campaign, evaluate your web site, landing page, or blog from the perspective of meta tags, load speed, and URLs. There are additional on page factors we'll discuss in the next SEO article, but the three mentioned herein are vitally important to your search engine optimization success.

CRM: Power tool for Lead Gen, Lead Management, and Lead Nurturing

By Jeffrey Bastian

Lead Generation, Lead Management, and Lead Nurturing are all important parts of the sales process.

The first of these steps is lead generation. This is the process of finding those parties who already have an interest in what is being sold. There are several ways of generating new leads; including purchasing leads from a third party organization or having web visitors submit their contact information. These leads are more valuable to a remote sales company if they have been newly generated, because these leads are more likely to convert into a sale. No lead can be ignored in a data base somewhere and still be considered a ?hot lead.?

Lead response management is just as important as lead generation. A customer relationship manager (CRM) is designed to help sales reps with lead management. Any leads that have been saved in a typical CSV file can be uploaded into the CRM, while leads captured from web forms can be uploaded automatically.

The lead response management tools built into the CRM allows sales representatives to contact newly imported leads immediately and efficiently. Within minutes of a web generated lead being imported into the CRM that lead is called and the call is routed to an available sales representative. Newly imported lists of leads are also dialed as soon as possible. Often new lead are left uncalled for 24 to 48 hours, lead response management stops this unacceptable practice from happening.

The CRM manages all of the tasks a company needs to complete with their leads and customers. They are powerful software solutions in remote sales and host the telephony tools that help sales representatives progress on every call.

As calls progress, the CRM allows companies to manage contacts in three "Buckets:" leads, prospects, and customers. Within these "Buckets" contact groups can be made. Each contact group can be marketed, notified and supported with the mass emails, faxes, and mailer tools built into the system. Each of these groups can also be designated as the contact list for a power dialer or voice broadcasting system. Sales representatives can adapt their scripts to address the needs of the contacts in each ?Bucket.?

Even the best sales reps can?t convert 100% of their leads into sales. Some inside sales companies would abandon those leads. Lead nurturing is the process of keeping in contact with non-converted leads and providing quality interaction with them so they will become a customer in the future. Email, phone calls, mailers, and faxes are all used in lead nurturing.

While lead generation is a critical aspect of inside sales, a CRM allows sales reps to manage and nurture those leads until they become converted customers.

Article Submission Tools for Increasing Links and Brand Awareness

By Debbie Rivera

Article marketing has become increasingly popular with the advent of search engine optimization, link building, and other methods of raising traffic and links to your site. High quality links from submitting articles can increase brand awareness on the internet. It will also add links to your site which can increase rankings in the search engines. New solutions are now available to take the guesswork and time out of submitting articles.

The process of manually submitting articles can take a large amount of time and involve unnecessary work. On the average, it can take up to 10 minutes per submission, minutes that could be spent growing your business and working on worthwhile tasks. You should be able to submit to hundreds of article directories at one time and with only a few clicks. You just can't expect to grow your business when you spend all of your time on manual submissions. They are a thing of the past.

There are currently many solutions on the market that will do the automatic submission of articles for you, while you spend quality time elsewhere. These software packages allow you to load your article, and let it go on autopilot. It will automatically submit to hundreds of directories for you without even a thought on your part. This will give you time to brainstorm and implement new ideas for your business that will help it to grow.

Make sure to check for features that you want in article submission software. For example, if you want to use different pen names, the software should allow this feature. Some programs allow you to enter an article directory yourself, while others allow for scheduled submissions. Scheduling submissions is important as it is a more natural approach to marketing. Be sure to check out the guarantees if you want to try out the software for a short period of time before committing to the purchase.

The most important feature of any article software is the ability to create unique content. Very few article submission tools spin your content generating unique versions of your article. Submitting unique versions is a good practice as duplicate content penalties are a big buzz right now and whatever you can do to help the situation is good. The software will take your content and adjust the paragraphs in such a way that every article submitted is completely different from the other. You can also generate a unique version every time you need it.

This is not the case because a lot needs to be done on the back end and on web pages for total search engine optimization. If you want to help a business make their site work with the search engines then you need to be able to understand how they work together.

Dedication is very important because when you work with companies to help them on the web by providing search engine optimization you are in charge of your own hours because you have the ability to work from home. This is why this line of work is so enticing. If you are not strong enough to be responsible and work normal hours every single day then you may have a problem. You need to be responsible and never miss a deadline for a client. It is important that you can provide the work promised and meet the expectations. Don't get too comfortable. Create a workspace that you work in and you are comfortable.

Then of course you have to have the ability to provide search engine optimization. Even though several people believe this is easy money, it's just like any other start up business. You have to work, and work hard to achieve your goals. The good news is there are millions of people out there who have no understanding of search engine optimization at all. This means you can utilize your talents and build upon an industry that is salivating over all the potential that is out there. If you think you have the ability to help others achieve their online goals, then the SEO field may be your best option.
